View Full Version : HLSG week of 11/20/00
How ironic that I would start it but here I am and I'll be brutally honest. I am determined to do some kind of workout at least three times this week. Should be fairly easy as we're dog sitting and he'll want walks (in the cold, yikes!)
It's Thnaksgiving (USA) week but that's no excuse to go nuts. Remember to stop eating when full (talking to myself too) and drink lots of water.
Have a great week everyone.

Being a teacher, it will actuallt be easier for me to work out this week.... no papers to grade...only work today and tomorrow...after 4 months of hard, this is the payoff! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

Keep up the great attitude Bev!!!!! It's cold here now, so that usually drives me to the Y to get the boys out of the house where we can both get exercise - I'm not at all fond of the cold, so I limit my outside time this time of year.
I weigh in today for the holiday program - ugh. Looking forward to it but not if you know what I mean.
Last week was okay, but only made it to the gym 3 times, so one day short of my goal of four. This week we'll get the four in easily with the kids off from school and the cold. I'm making my husband go too since he'll be off from work - I'm always more motivated when we go together!!
Good luck everyone and Happy Thanksgiving!!
You go girls!!! Wishing all good luck.
Since I get to prepare all the goodies this week I'm trying to keep it fairly light. I've not had much time to work in exercise at the gym but am getting my house cleaned and ready for the next wave of company. Does that count??? Happy Turkey Day all...Until next time

This thread should be called "the few ... the proud ... the Marines"! I actually got in quite a few workouts in preparation for Potatoes, Stuffing & Gravy Day. I even worked out Thanksgiving morning - my gym had a special step class. When I went to work at Weight Watchers the Sat. after Thanksgiving, I had lost a quarter pound in spite of my niece's pies. I did a lot of weight training all week. Today, Sunday, I went to my usual aerobics class but found the L-Trytophan from five turkey meals in a row has caught up with my stamina. Let's all hang in there during the stressful holiday weeks and parties to come!
