both my DH and I love yoga, but aren't satisfied with the yoga classes they offer at the gym. We are looking for good ol' hatha yoga of any shape or form; none of the fancy power yoga or yogalates. So if anyone knows of any good yoga studios or classes in the DC/Rockville area in MD, please send us a note! TIA!!! :)

I took Yoga Classes in Alexandria a couple of years ago but can't remeber the name of the place...it was tiny.
There is a place called Sun and Moon Yoga on Lee Highway in Arlington that I have heard good things about.

You have to try Thrive on Rockville Pike. It is a great studio. Very beautiful, calm and relaxing. They have meditation rooms, two big studios and run several types of classes including intensive workshops. I like the variety. They are located on the lower level of a shopping center across from Best Buy.

Some good ones - Georgetown Yoga - my favorite, then Ashtanga Yoga in Tenleytown also in Alexandria, and Little River Yoga in Alexandria. I know there is one in Arlington - next to the Bartending school, but I can't remember the name.
