Has anyone seen "Stay"?

I hated this movie with the fire of a thousand suns. Okay, maybe not a thousand, maybe just a hundred, but I really thought it stank. Mainly because this idea was done much better when it was called Jacob's Ladder . But yes, the whole thing takes place in Ryan Gosling's mind in the minute or so before he dies, after the traffic accident. All the people in the movie are the ones huddled around him on the street and his mind just spins them into this (pointless) story and then he dies. That's why Ewan McGregor is wearing ridiculous too-short pants through the whole film--because when Ryan looks at him when he's lying on the bridge and Ewan is crouched down, that pulls his pants legs up--so that's the look he has through the whole thing.

Wow, writing that just brought back how ticked off I was to have wasted 2 hrs watching this. I know some people loved it, but I can't fathom why.
