View Full Version : Halloween Costume for Dog/Cat

So, today, Gigi (my 2 yr old affenpinscher) and I went to 3 Dog Bakery to ger her a Halloween costume. Last year, she was Tigger. This year, she was just too cute in the Lady Bug costume. I had to get it.

I was just wondering how many other folks get (or make . . . for those talented folks who can sew) a costume for their pet. And feels like they need to get a new one every year . . in order to be a good pet parent.

Old Navy has excellent pet Halloween costumes every year. We don't dress up our dog (save for a witches hat ;)), but my mom dresses their greyhound every year ... last year he was a butterfly, this year I think he's a bee. The winged-costumes are easy for him and he can keep them on for longer than 60 seconds, just enough for her to get a picture. Got some at Target last year after the holiday on clearance.

Yeah, DH and I dress up the dogs every year. One will wear anything you put anywhere on her and the other will not tolerate anything on his head. I never knew about Old Navy having dog costumes, though. (Since I never go in there for myself) I'll have to check it out.

I don't have a dog. Please post pics of yours in their costumes. I think it is hilarious if you can get your dog to stand for it. Also cats. Here's a good example of cats who have a good sense of humor. (I may have gotten this site from someone on this board, not sure.)
