Hi,

I am new to the Healthy Living BB. (ALthough I do spend time on the Great Food BB)

I was wondering if anyone here is an aerobics instructor? Thankfully, where I work has a fitness center and we have an aerobics club. On a good week, I will go to class 4 times and take a spinning class the other.

One of the gyms here is offering aerobic certification and I thought this might be fun to do. But I am concerned about getting there and it being more for people who want to do this professionally. Anyone have any experience that would like to share? TIA

Go for it! Most people who get certified are just regular people like us. I did it 3 years ago. It is really easy, especially if you have been taking classes for a while. If you teach classes then you get paid to exercise and you usually get free membership to the gyms where you teach.

Thanks Lisa. The idea is becoming more and more appealing. It should be fun. Thanks again!

donleyk, I agree with food girl. I got certified about 10 years ago and found that my best fitness level was when I was teaching - you can't just decide not to go! It was a lot of fun and kept me meeting lots of interesting people. Go for it!
