Cincinnati Supper Club?

Are there any supper clubs in the greater Cincinnati area looking for new members or is someone interested in starting a club?

Have you formed a club yet? I'm in Lexington (1 hour from Louisville and Cincinnati) and can't seem to find anyone either. I'm willing to drive and/or be the mid-point location...

There doesn't seem to be much interest in the Cincinnati area. Maybe more will spark in the spring when the weather gets better?

Hi Amy. Thanks for the interest. I haven't had success in getting enough people interested and I'd love the help. Maybe we can attend a few cooking classes that are offered locally here when you move to see if we can find others who would like to participate. What do you think?

I'm in the Liberty Township area - close to Mason and West Chester. Maybe all of us could meet this summer when the two who are planning to move get here. Where is everyone else planning to live?

I am moving to Oxford this summer, and am expecting to be living on the Cincinnati side. I am looking for people to start a supper club also--maybe if enough people are interested we could divide into geographical areas and start 2 or 3 clubs? If not, I am willing to think about driving also--under 30 mins is very easy, I am trying to avoid 45 mins plus. I will be there by mid August at the absolute latest (DH has accepted a job with Miami Univ.).

I'm not familiar with area yet--would you be a far drive from either Oxford, or one of the areas toward Cinci from Oxford, like Ross Township? We haven't found our living arrangements yet (I say arrangements bc seeing as the house here has not sold yet we may have to wait a year before buying there :eek:) so I am not sure exactly where we will be, but I think we will be on the Cinci side of Oxford.

Awesome! Would you like to exchange email (and anyone else please email me or PM me if you are on the west side--there seem to be enough interested that I don't really see the point in trying to cover a huge area with one group)? I'd love to throw my email in the mix too. We're not sure where we are going to buy yet, but we're considering the west side. If we don't end up buying there, it is no problem for me to drive that way (in Covington now, considering Westwood, Finneytown, etc). :)

Have you visited cookingclubnet.com? They have a book with ideas on how they did their cooking club/supper club. Worth the read.
