Good morning, all! Happy Friday the 13th! :D
So far, so good. I did my yoga early, then did a 35 minute hill workout with intervals on the treadmill.
My treadmill and I are becoming friends again, because I am not acclimated to this cold weather. I am sure by mid-January 30's and 40's will seem like a thaw, but I'm not there yet!
What did you do today? Post it when it's done! :)

Good workout Kathy! I didn't realize how cold it got in Missouri...30's and 40's will seem warm in January?? WOW. We are definately not of hearty stock here in California! :D
Just finished 35 minutes on the Nordic Track.
Next?

Tomorrow is my exercise day, but I just wanted to encourage both of you! Good workouts!
KathyB, you must be in northern Missouri! I always think of that as near Alabama... but then, Northern Alabama can get chilly, too! :)

Hi Kathy, Peggy and Kay,
Just checking up on you! I'm 8 days out from my hernia surgery and feeling pretty good. Had the follow-up appointment today, and the dr. said I could start moving again as long as I felt comfortable.
I went to work Wed. and today and have been walking around the block and stretching. Not much, but hope to ramp things up soon. :)
Have a great weekend.

Hi, Martha! Glad to hear you are flying through your postop recovery. (We knew you would!). Keep on getting stronger, and don't try to jump in TOO quickly. :) I'll bet it feels great to be getting back at it again. :)
Kay and Peggy, The average January temp around here is in the 20's, but of course that means sometimes it is much colder. The temperatures do get down below zero a few times every winter, so 30's to 40's will be a dream when that happens! :D

Hi all...everyone sounds like they've been busy. I was headed to the gym this afternoon when my sister called to see if I wanted to go to a big event on Main Street. I walked two quick miles around the block and headed out to meet her. The event was spread out a pretty long way so I ended up doing a lot more walking than I expected! It was a nice fun evening!
Anyone else still need to post for today?

Melanie, we were posting at the same time. Glad you had fun at the Main Street event with your sister. That plus your walk beforehand ought to have you in good shape for today. Have a good evening! :)

Martha -- glad to hear that you are feeling better! Take it easy getting back to the exercise, and don't undo what the dr. did! ;)
