DS asks, "What's the difference between a wizard and a warlock?" I went to ask.com and found nothing of use to me.
Anyone?

May not be true but I've always thought of wizards as good guys and warlocks as evil guys...JMHO!

Here's what I found.
Difference between wizard and warlock (http://www.answerbag.com/q_view.php/13233)
Another explanation (http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=38123)
I think they are essentially two different words for the same thing.

Warlock is a somewhat offensive term for a male witch. It comes from an old word meaning "oath-breaker". Hence the association that makes sneezles say "bad guys."
Wizard tends to have connotations of knowledge as well as magic -- "wisdom". Gandalf, et al; their power is not only in their magic, but in their vast learning.

So can I add a question? What's the difference between a wizard and a sorcerer?
