I'm still kitchenless (renovation), and subsiding with my microwave, rice cooker and crockpot. I need to make up a batch of plain noodles (egg noodles) and was wondering for any tips of how to cook them without using a stove. One thought was to heat water in the microwave, then to pour it in the crockpot and let the noodles cook there, but would I use low or high heat on the crockpot? TIA!

No crockpot needed. I cook noodles in my microwave frequently to cut down on kitchen heat in hot Florida weather. They turn out great! Can't remember how long it takes as I check frequently on progress and stir a bit along the way. I always cook 16 oz. at a time in a large Corningware container with lid on.

If you have grill, why not put a big pot of water on it and bring it to a boil and cook your pasta that way????

I'd cook mine right in the rice cooker for the one time!! Then I'd get this:

Affordable and it does alot...even bake.
Hang in there, your kitchen will be worth it!
