Hi All. I have a diet plan and have previously seen a professional nutritionalist and am on a high protein high carb mod fat diet with the aim of increasing bodyweight. I eat regularly (7 meals daily) and am looking for a few suggestions of high protein / carb meals that I can incorporate for variety. All suggestions welcome.

Any preferences for protein sources (fish, chicken, beef, pork) and carbs (rice, grains, veggies)? What kinds of things are you currently eating?

Wicked meal when I've got a craving is "trash can eggs" using egg beaters, shrimp or chopped chicken breast, broccoli, peppers (bell and banana), salsa, low-fat cheese, onion, and mushroom. If I've got a little leftover rice I'll throw a little of that in too. Can't beat that combination for high protein, low fat, and a mix of slow and quick carbs.

Hope you can get some other thoughts and I hope I can come up with things that tickle your fancy.

Les

Hi Les and thanks for the comments

I generally eat a lot of chicken and veges and slow carbs - yams and sweet potatoes. I also eat pasta, tuna, wholegrain breads and eggs, yoghurt, cottage cheese. I am not adverse to some fat - a bit of cheese, avocado, and I admit that I like crispy chicken skin. I just get bored with too much of the same and enjoy some variety.
