HI! My new supper club is having a christmas swap ($15) in Dec and I am trying to get some ideas now (want to get x-mas shopping done sooner than later).

Can you give me some ideas for what small things you would want? It is food/cooking related!

Let me know!
Michelle

Hallmark has a kitchen ornament that you might want to checkout. http://www.hallmark.com/wcsstore/HallmarkStore/images/products/gifts/qxg2623_xl.jpg

Maybe a new oven mitt stuffed with quality chocolate and nuts, or with some nice-smelling, all-natural kitchen cleaner and hand moisturizer?

Microplane Grater!! They come in different grades for about 15-20 each, you could give a cheese grater and some nice parmesan!!

How about....

- Cookbook (Half price Books, Costco, Sams Club, Online, etc.)
- Ov Glove (I know it sounds silly, but they work great for most of my cooking.)
- Chef's hat, pants, apron, etc.
- saute pan
- cooking utensils
- funny kitchen artwork or a group picture
- a years subscription to a cooking magazine

We've done a holiday swap ($20) the last couple years in our supper club and some of the gifts received/given were:

Electric S&P grinders
CL Cookbooks/Annuals
Fireplace candle holders w/candles
Penzy's spice gift boxes
Wine/opener/glasses, etc.
Gift Certificate to TJ's, WS, etc.

Hope this helps! I'm thinking we will do a couples exchange this year in our new group and do a $40 limit. I think we'll be able to get some great gifts that way.
