I looked through a couple older threads where people asked about jeans. One brand that I didn't see mentioned was Rock & Republics. I got some today for a very good price ;) but wondered if anybody has had them and what you thought.
I've tried both Sevens and Joes and neither impressed me much, although I liked the look of Joes better. And True Religions are just so not made for me and not my style.

I've looked at R&R but I've always been too curvy for them. Now that I've lost a bit I should try them again.
I'm still in love with my Paige Premium Denim jeans. They make a booty look good!
BTW - your son is a doll!

I don't really know the stores up here in Canada very well, so I just head to Eddie Bauer. I've had good luck with their jeans, but need to go again as all mine are getting holes in the knees, a byproduct of having young kids, I guess.

Debie I haven't seen the Paige ones (though I've heard of them). And thanks for the compliments to DS :)
Hoodone, I do have some nice Eddie Bauer jeans that I got a few years ago when I lost a bunch of weight. Unfortunately I am no where close to wearing them now  but I'm keeping them in hopes.....

I'll make note of these jeans to look into. I am almost there. I want some jeans to look hot in :)

Ugh! I hate jeans shopping. Actually, I hate pant shopping. And it's even worse after my unemployment because the last month and a half killed my healthy eating/exercise habits. I hopeful that with skiing that will change in the next few months. In the meantime, I've actually found some jeans at Target that are Levi Strauss that work fairly well for me.

My favorites are Halogen which was a Nordstrom brand I think. They don't make them anymore. Very Sad. I am wearing them to death.
My high heel jeans are DKNY (very comfy) and I just got a pair of Seven jeans last weekend for going out.
I like Calvin Klein for bumming around b/c you can buy them sized like men buy with the length (which is nice since I am only 5'2)!

I tried on a pair of Paige jeans at Nordstrom Rack-they were so friggin cute!! Should have bought them right away because when I went back the next day they were gone! I have a couple pairs of Sevens, which are super comfy, but do I really need 2 pairs of identical jeans(different sizes because I didn't realize how much they stretch!)??
Jeans are my new obsession. Nordstrom is having their Half Yearly sale now I so I will hunt down some new cute jeans!

That's a good site...I think. It did say that the Newport News "Curvy" jeans would be good for me, and in fact I ordered those, with high hopes, and they didn't work for me. But I think I will try some of the other things they recommend.

I just ordered Lucky Brand Jeans because of zafu.com. It actually came back with my favorite Victoria Secret Jeans listed, so I thought I'd give it a try, although i've never spent $100 on jeans!!

I hate to admit it, but I just spent $200 on a pair. They are black, and I saw a pair that was 4 years old and still the original black color. They are Doncaster, sold in home trunk shows, so you know the markup is not good for the consumer. But the fabric is forgiving and feels wonderful, and the lack of fading was irresistible. I buy black jeans every year, only to have them fade. What's money. :D
