from the April '01 issue (pages 94-100)? Gin is just my personal exercise goddess! Seeing that meso? endo? bod of hers each month is such an inspiration http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

Anyhow, I recommend the Side-Lying Hip Lifts- they are kick-butt. I've graduated up to the straight leg, rotating torso one and talk about hard- I use them to substitute a shoulder move and oblique crunches that stopped being challenging- these do the trick in one move. Or perhaps they will when I can do more than 5 in a set without collapsing.

I liked her segment on stretching with your partner. My husband and I still do these before and during a bike ride.

I am so glad that CL uses Gin instead of Karen Voight as they did in earlier issue. I think Gin has a body that we can aspire to.
