I'm not Canadian, but www.collagevideo.com (http://www.collagevideo.com) has a Canada link on its order page. The shipping charges are higher than to the states (though that might be what you're referring to when you mentioned expense). They do have a phenomenal selection of videos.

Charlene Prickett is based in Calgary and has a whole line of step aerobic videos. I believe she's at www.charleneprickett.com (http://www.charleneprickett.com) - she used to do a tv show when I lived in Ontario.
