I am planning on making truffles as gifts for Christmas this year. Does anyone have an online resource for a place where I can buy boxes and divider trays where you don't have to buy them in quantities of 50-100 or more?

I was thinking of ordering some from here:

Kitchen Krafts (http://www.kitchenkrafts.com)

If you put in a search for boxes you will find some white ones starting at $2.95 for 5 and going up depending on how big you want them.

Let me know if you find dividers there I haven't checked, but I did check for the boxes and candy cups so far.

How about www.thecontainerstore.com

Does it have to be an online store? If you have a party store in your area, you may be able to find something there - Party City and Paper Factory come to mind. Also a store such as Michael's or JoAnn's may have something.

I order my candy supplies from Country Kitchen Sweet Art (http://www.countrykitchensa.com). I've never ordered their packaging supplies, but everything else I've ordered has been top quality- and they really pride themselves in their quick filling of orders and customer service.

My favorite place is DoItWithIcing but thats because I know the owner and she's a very sweet person.

I also order from Country Kitchens. Also check to see if you have a cake supply shop in your area. You can also buy Wilton candy boxes at Walmart and craft stores.

I recently visited a terrific source of boxes online:

http://www.bayleysboxes.com/trinket%20box.html

The box I linked to was a nice one, but if you go to the main page, you'll see tons of boxes. I got the link from Real Simple, I believe. So althought I personally have not ordered from them, I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

Thanks everyone!

And Erika, no it doesn't have to be online, and I do have a Michaels close by so I can check there as well.

wow, what a great site! Thank you for sharing this....I may have to re-think candy again this year. I was thinking about not doing it, but these boxes are so cute I might have to!

I've ordered from a company that was in Martha's Holiday Cookies magaines called http://www.glerup.com They have beautiful containers and usually discount if you order more than 30. I buy about 50 a season and use them for my church and neighborhood cookie exchange. They have a fantastic variety so you can make any style of cookie without worrying you cant find a box to fit it. One year I made HUGE gingerbread snowflakes and they had a perfect box for it.

I've ordered a few times from Mr. Take Out Bags (http://www.mrtakeoutbags.com/) - more than just bags, they have a great selection. :)
