Survivor 11/16 - Spoilers...

What did everyone think about last night's episode? What did you think of the twist with the losing tribe for immunity?

Personally, when I watch Survivor, I tell myself to expect the unexpected. They are always trying to put a new twist into the show to shake things up. So, having a second vote for the losing tribe doesn't seem like a stretch for me.

However, I really was fuming about Jenny's comments about being voted off - how pissed off she was, if she had known there would be a second vote, she would have played it differently, etc. Well, going back to my thought on the game - EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED! Don't get mad at the show! In my opinion, if she is only playing the game one vote at a time, then she wouldn't have made it anyway. You HAVE to think way ahead in the game if you are going to succeed - apparently she wasn't doing that.

Also, I think Jonathan is doing a jam up job on trying to keep his new tribe happy, but I think he will be a threat later on, and they need to be cautious of him. And as for Candice, they need to get rid of her too - what has she contributed except for keeping Adam happy? She's always at Exile Island, and they haven't won immunity since she got there!

Just my humble opinions....

We loved the 2nd vote! We were thinking how much better the show would be if they always voted someone off with no time for thought, scheming or discussion.

I thought it was pretty telling that the vote was so one-sided for Jenny. Obviously they didn't like her much.

Ozzy is our favorite. We think it's so fortunate that he's in such a small tribe because otherwise he would need to be voted off before the merge. He will be a huge force in individual challenges.

Well, after calming down my hormones from watching another hour of Becky and Pavarti.....

Becky isn't really physical, but she did give it her all. Parvati is, unfortunately, rather wimpy. It sadly detracts from her utter gorgeousness.

I was very, very pleased with the outcome... I'm rooting for Yul, and by extension Becky and the remains of that tribe...
so the extra elimination helped considerably.

If they merge, I wonder if Jonathan will switch back....

Candice/Adam needs to be split up... anyone who doesn't recognize that does so at their own peril.

I'm looking forward to seeing Yul's tribe's reactions upon discovery that two were voted off....

Jenny is a crybaby....she should have anticipated that something like that was in the works with that bottle as a foreshadowing....

The second vote last night was a surprise, but I enjoyed that everyone had to think for themselves, finally.

I hated listening to Candice whine about being on Exile Island. She said she was sad that her "friends" would send her there to suffer, but she was the one who left them to switch back to the other tribe. I haven't seen her do anything there (granted she spends a lot of time on Exile Island), but why haven't they voted her off. She has done nothing for them.

I love Yul, Ozzie and that tribe. They have figured out how to beat a larger team.

Good point, Momqat!! I hadn't thought about it that way. I probably wouldn't make a good contestant, for many reasons. Most of all....I love to eat!!!

I'm rooting for both Ozzy and Yul. The mutiny combined with the second vote this week has almost cemented them for a while I think. Jonathon is an idiot and is barely hanging on... I think that should they merge, Jonathon would flip in a heartbeat and go back with his former tribe if that gave him an assurance into the final 5.

I could easily see Ozzy pulling out every individual immunity once they merge- and with Yul having the idol, those two are looking REALLY good right now.

Ozzy needs to give Candice a big thank you for keeping him in the game. He was the next on the list of people to go on his tribe, but with her jumping to the other tribe, he was safe. And could be appreciated by his team for all his strengths instead of being viewed as a threat.

And why does the tribe that Candice jumped to (can't remember their names) blame/hate Jonathan for leaving his old tribe and joining them, but not Candice?

I bet we just don't see that part. I have no doubt that they think the same of Candace.

I figured as much. I think Jonathan must make it pretty far in the game and the producers are showing him "on the brink of going home" every week, so we can see what a rough time he had. Plus, I hope he wins because I have him in the office pool!
