Need help for toothache!

Does anyone have suggestions to relieve toothache pain until I can get in to see the dentist? Please help me out on this one!!!

Taking 2 Tylenol should help.

Actually, 3 Advil will kill the pain completely. In my opinion, they work MUCH better than Tylenol. And you do need to take three (both my dentist and my doctor told me that - I have had two root canals recently (one of them was SOOO painful - the doctor gave me Vicodin and the three Advil worked better!) and I have horrible fibroids, so I can't live without my Advil!!)

Can your dentist call into your local pharmacy a prescription?. If you give your dentist the pharmacy's phone # its pretty fast. I had a root canal and was given Ibroprufen 800mg but I only had pain the first day (thankfully).
