At Thanksgiving I just wanted to thank all of you for the recipes, reviews, opinions and advice you give everyday! I enjoy coming to the bb to learn about cooking, find new recipes and get help. As I become more and more experienced, I hope to pass it on!

And while I am thankful to everyone who responded to my posted questions, and everyone who has helped me with wonderful recipes, and especially everyone who shared tips for making the turkey ahead of time, I would like to share a huge THANK YOU to cookinginMO/KS, who answered my PM with details on exactly how to make a turkey on Wednesday and reheat it Thursday without having it dry out. I can't figure out why it never occurred to me to do a turkey on Wednesday, but this particular BBer gave me the courage to go for it! :)

cookinginMO/KS, my 25.83-pounder is in the oven as I write; the stock is done and I have canned broth if needed to moisten all the carved meat; and my crockpots are ready to go for the Thursday reheat--you have given me a relaxation about Thanksgiving that I've never had when I'm worried about the progress of a huge turkey on the big day, and then making the gravy with an audience of hungry people.
