My DH is the hardest person on the planet to buy for, and when the restrictions are stocking sized and priced, it becomes nearly impossible. What kinds of things are you putting in your DH's stocking?

Well I stuff my stockings with traditional things each year, new toothbrushes, underwear, but for my SO I have also put in new swim goggles, gift cards to his favorite coffee house, last year I put in one of those memory sticks for his computer, gift certificates to have his car washed, etc. He is a very practical guy so usually I am buying him things that he will use throughout the year.

Lisa,
We have a limit too so here are my stocking stuffers so far this year:
Boxers
Socks for work
Lottery tickets
Little bottles of tabasco for his desk @ work for lunch
New travel coffee mug
Snacks (hot peanuts, jerky, etc.)
He's also getting a PS2 game that I'll probably stick in the stocking.
HTH!

candy, lottery tickets, baseball cards, books, tools (small things like clamps). I also usually pick up a few interesting gadgets from places like Restoration Hardware, Cost Plus. This year he also asked for some "daddy" picture frames.

I usually put a magazine in DH's stocking (last year I put an issue of Rolling Stone in there, don't know what I'll do this year). I also put lottery ticket(s), and a bottle of beer or some other kind of alcohol. I know that we're out of Kaluha, so I may get a bottle and put in his stocking (not really stocking-priced, but its something we'd probably be buying anyway and so sometimes I will buy those kinds of things and put them out).

All of the above, plus a run by Home Depot for stuff like bungee cords, caribiners (?), household cement, hooks, that kind of thing...and drugstore stuff like chapstick, little flashlights, gum, post-it pads, and then sporting good stores for socks, glove liners, camping stuff....etc!

A bag of pistachios. He loves them and we don't often have them around because they're pricey.
I'm probably also going to throw in an i-tunes card and a few lottery tickets.
