An easy way to give to a favorite charity!

A friend just sent me this information & I thought you guys would be interested, too. I'm going to quote her: "I use the internet quite a lot during my job, especially looking up answers to clients’ questions. I just learned of this site: www.goodsearch.com that gives one cent to a charity of your designation each time you search the internet through their site. They use the Yahoo search engine. I’ve set it as my homepage to remind me to use it instead of a regular search engine site. Just wanted to pass along…what an easy way to raise money for a charity close to your heart."

If any of you know of this already & use it, or give it a try... let us know how well it works for you.

I've had that bookmarked for awhile and try to remember to use it. The search engine is Yahoo so it's the same as searching for something there. (I prefer Google so I only end up using this for something really basic because I just don't like Yahoo's search). I can never think of a charity name either, just usually enter something like "breast cancer" and grab the first thing that comes up. It would be great if it would remember your charity but I seem to have to search every time.

But a great idea indeed!
