My parents always go to Florida for the winter and all their Christmas stuff is there. Due to failing health, they are stuck in NJ with no Christmas cheer and they can't get out to shop. I was hoping to find a table top artificial tree (3-4 feet) online that I could have shipped to them.
Any ideas? I don't want anything fancy like the Thomas Kinkade --just a basic tree with maybe some lights and a few ornaments. Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure what you want to spend, but we bought one from http://www.treeclassics.com/information.asp a few years ago. We live within a hour of the place so we were able to go get it ourselves. We got a 9' lighted, and have been more than thrilled with it. I know they have many sizes, and they are expensive, but they look better than anything I have seen elsewhere and the warranty is great. We got a fir of some sort, I believe (can't remember exactly).

You might find a florist that could deliver a small live tree all set up with lights etc...I did this for my sister once and it was lovely, very simple but real and festive - all she had to do was plug it in. Of course it depends on if they like a real tree or not.

We bought a gorgeous prelit tree from treeclassics 6 years ago and we love it. This year for the first time one of the strings didn't light when we plugged it in and we had to spend some time hunting down the problem, but we found it and everything was fine.
I don't know if they have small trees, but in terms of quality and customer service, treeclassics.com can't be beat!

Thanks for the ideas-- Tree classics looks nice but smallest is 4 1/2 feet and that is too big. I searched the Target site and came up with nothing.
Can someone post a link to a Target tree that might work? Table top would be great.

I'm thinking about doing the same for my mom. My brother put her tree up last week and it had a broken leg that he taped. He apparently didn't do a great job, cause it's fallen down since then. He's going over tomorrow to try again, but I'm thinking why not just get her a new one. Anyway, this is the one I'm considering ... 4.5' pre-lit tree (http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?bidsite=HDSF&cat=By+Shop&pid=07159462000&vertical=HDSF&subcat=Martha+Stewart+Everyday&BV_UseBVCookie=Yes)
