Semi-annual happy dance about end of semester!!!!!!

2 tests down--
3 homework down--
2 finals and 2 comprehensive finals to go...
and I'm not even that stressed yet!! :D :D
If all goes as planned :rolleyes: I will be done by Monday night and will go ride (snowboard) in midweek with free lift tickets and take no exams on my birthday!!!! (Which is nice because on my 30th next year I will be taking California boards :eek: )
Anyone else want to countdown until the end of the semester!?!??!

I'll count down with you! My last class is tomorrow, but I still have one more week of intership, with a loooong ethics paper due next week. Not stressed, but the week is not over.

I'll countdown with you for my DD - fall semester of her senior year. Her stress level is off the map, which means the rest of the household is on pins and needles. ;) One and 1/2 weeks of regular classes to go, a catapult to finish building with her group for physics class (still not sure how it's being transported to school for the launching on Friday), then finals at high school, a final for her college class and three more college applications due. I'm living for Dec 21st!

Final paper was turned in this morning...I'll be stressing for the next week (and studying a LOT) for the final next Tuesday. My other class ended last night!

That's 4 classes (almost) completed....9 more to go!!! :D

Don't have any finals myself but am counting down with the rest of you! Yay for everyone for their accomplishments this semester.

Last class is Friday. Almost one paper down, am doing the final corrections and additions and one group paper to go. I hate group papers. I have been waiting to receive certain sections of the paper so I could finalize my section and edit the entire paper.

Last day of internship for the semester at Child Protective Services tomorrow. I am stressed out with buying a new house and remodeling it before we move in and trying to finish school stuff. I keep convincing myself that a master's degree in social work is worth the stress. Only one more semester to go :) .

DD1 is heading into finals week @ college - whew! Always a very intense time, hopefully Mama's Christmas cookies will help recharge her batteries after that. ;)

DD1 is looking forward to a break for Christmas -- she's getting her MBA on-line, while working full time, as well as doing volunteer work! Busy girl, I don't know how she does it!

I hope all of you who are working hard in school enjoy a very well-deserved break.

I graduated from college almost 20 years ago and I'll still dream that it's finals week and I haven't been to class and now need to catch up a whole semester's worth in just a few nights! :eek: It's my typical "I'm stressed out" dream. Nothing even remotely like that ever happend to me for real, obviously, but I always wake up so relieved that I'm not in school! :)

Oh my goodness! Lindrusso, I just had that dream! I had totally forgotten to go to an English class all quarter and then ran in to take the final! It was my highschool english teacher no less! 10 years later and I'm still having nightmares!

I'm doing a different kind of dance, as the mom of kids about to be released for Xmas break. It's the "I'd better have everything DONE by 11/20 or I'm in real trouble!!!" :eek: dance. Maybe by meeting that deadline, we'll be able to bake cookies, wrap together, make a gingerbread house, etc.: have some relaxed family time after the kids finish all their exams, instead of a mad dash to finish stuff b4 Xmas.
