You guys are so creative, I thought maybe you could give me some ideas for a friend of mine who is 3 mos. pregnant. She is having a really tough time with morning sickness right now, and I want to send her something as a little 'pick me up'! Any ideas??

How about some magazines on different topics? She probably just wants to sit and take it easy but it's hard to concentrate on a book when you're feeling sick. Magazines are less labour intensive?!

I really enjoyed reading when I was pregnant with my first. I read a lot of novels while I took time to rest. The magazines are a good idea, too. Whatever you decide on, I'm sure she'll really appreciate it. It's nice to pay some attention to the mommy when sometimes it seems like all of the attention is on the baby. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif You're a good friend!

Morning sickness friend?
How about cleaning her house?
Gift certificates for take out?
Gift certificate for a manicure?
Take her a meal?
A package of Sea-Bands to try for the sickness?
A pregnancy scrapbook?
A body pillow?
Bath products, a bath pillow, a soothing tape or cd and a trashy novel?
I'm not pregnant, but I think if you're friend doesn't want any of the above, you can feel free to send them to me.......

How about a pretty basket filled with fun stuff, like ginger snaps (ginger helps with nausea), animal crackers, Fit Pregnancy magazine, chocolate of course, Palmer's cocoa butter for preventing stretch marks (they make a special product just for this purpose), etc. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif
