kima,
I know it's personal, but since you brought it up on the BB before, I was just wondering how your DD is doing? I think about her once in awhile...that was a difficult age for me! She's lucky to have an understanding mom like you!

Thankyou so much for asking Chrisi!! Not too personal at all- I was the one who shared my story!! BTW my daughter does not know I talk about her here- when I refer to something I learned here I say "I read somewhere..."
She seems to be doing fine. She says the attacks are milder asn not as frequent. She is not taking any medication but is continuing with vitamins. As I said I have never seen her have an attack and just once saw her after (which lead to this whole thing). We have a very good line of communication- the only reason she doesn't tell me things is because she thinks she can handle them herself and doen't want me to worry!! I have explained that I will worry if I think she won't share important stuff with me!! Any one else with teenage daughters will probably find this to be a familiar refrain. I wish you could meet her- she is such a cutie!! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif Maureen

I'm sure she is a wonderful daughter. I remember not wanting to worry my mom about things even though I wanted to tell her something. I always thought she wouldn't understand, but of course now I know better! Why do teenagers always seem to think that their parents know nothing about being teenagers? I'm sure it helps her a lot to know that you are there for her and she can be honest and open with you. Good luck! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif
