View Full Version : Does anyone have a TREOwx?

I've had mine about 2 months and I don't have it all sorted out. There are some specific things I know it can do, but I'm not figuring out. I've gone to the boards at treocentral.com, but honestly, I don't get all of the tech-speak :confused:
So if anyone has one and knows how to use it as a modem with pdanet, which I just downloaded a trial of, please share how that works- do I just connect the treo to my laptop via the usb and click the pdanet icon???

Any other fun or interesting things you're doing with your treo? I had a PDA awhile ago and never took to it fully, but I love this thing!
Any specific shareware suggestions?

I have the Treo 700p, and I LOVE it. Sorry, I don't know anything about the program you mentioned. What does it do?

I guess the only thing I have done with mine above and beyond using for the standard phone/email/calendar is to add the WeightWatchers To Go program. It is so awesome - it syncs wirelessly with the WW Online account. It makes it so much easier to do my food journal. Other than that, I just downloaded a few games!

Pdanet allows the treo to be a high speed modem. I'll need to get someone to figure it out for me, maybe I can get my son to give me 20 minutes! :rolleyes:
My treo is windows os and the program you have that ww supports is palm os. I do hope the windows version comes soon- it's a neat program. I've downloaded a few demo's at http://handango.com There are some great programs for the treo and yes, I love games too.
The most recent thing I've added is a Telanav gps trial- I'm so glad I did-this thing has saved me so much time and aggrevation, I am going to keep it.
