I have finally decided to buy a double jog stroller. Would you be able to direct me in the right direction? I just can't make up my mind. I do know that I do not need a fancy $500 stroller. I'm a walker and not a runner. We live in a developed neighborhood with gentle inclines. My children are 4 and 8 months and are normal size.

If you would share your yeas and nays on double jog strollers I sure would appreciate it:)

Thanks so much and Happy Holidays:D

I don't have a double stroller but I have heard good things about the type of stroller that has a platform in the back that the older child can stand on. Works well for a preschooler because they can ride if they want and hop off easy enough.

Have you thought about having your preschooler ride a small bike (with training wheels) or a trike? (I'm not sure how long/far you're walking so don't know how feasible that is)?

Thanks for the suggestion Kim. I wish having my son ride on his bike were feasible as I love my single jog stroller and hate to give it up. I'd get about half down the block before I'd get complaints plus he would not be able to keep up. He is slower than molasses in a blizzard.

I found two collapsible double jog strollers which sound promising. Space in our garage is a premium so a collapsible jog stroller would work great for us.

Do you really need a jog stroller? I am currently using a Peg Perego double stroller and it is great. I don't use it daily, but it is great. I think it is the Aria.

I would definitely look into Craig's List or a resale shop for your stroller. I run a large children's consignment sale and we get some great ones in that really haven't been used that much.

The strollers I have aren't as nice as Peg Perego so to answer your question, yes a double jog stroller is needed. I forgot about Craig's List. Thanks for the suggestion and I had not thought about checking a consignment store. I'll look in the yellow pages. I appreciate your help.
