HI All --
Well I have a good excuse for being behind . . . I sold my pre-Tim house and closed this past week, which meant I have spending most of my time packing and moving out the rest of my stuff.
I'd love to make a special romantic Christmas breakfast for the two of us. A lot of traditional Christmas breakfast recipes involve large stratas or other dishes that are really more suitable for a family size group. Nearly anything goes although we do want to stay away from dishes that are very very fattening. Thanks!

Easy peasy. Chocolate body paint. Doesn't get much more romantic than that. If you want something a bit more nutritious, add fruit.

How about a puffed pancake (http://food.cookinglight.com/cooking/recipefinder.dyn?action=displayRecipe&recipe_id=226353)? I've made this recipe before, it's very good, and you can top it with fruit or whatever you want.

ROFLMAO. Thanks, Bethany! :D
How about scones (I have a good recipe for orange-current scones if you want it) with Canadian bacon, fresh fruit salad, and mimosas?

Wow, I was thinking about a suggestion but think this puffed pancake would be perfect and certainly romantic! Sprinkle with powdered sugar, serve with some fruits macerated with honey, hot cocoa or tea for a beverage and you get a great breakfast! Sounds delicious!
Hope you have a happy and romantic Christmas!!!
