I purchased a Swiffer Wet Jet the other day and tried it out this morning. While it really did a good clean on the floor, it leaked all over. Anyone else have one of these? Do you like it? I'm not sure if I should take it back and try a new one or just return... thoughts???

I have one it's about 3 years old now but it doesn't leak. Hmmmm you might want to get a new one.

I have one as well and love it. Mine does not leak, so you may want to just exchange it.

Mine doesn't leak, either - I vote for the exchange for a new one. I love it, too! So much better than mop-and-bucket - hey, just like the commercial!

I also have a Wet Jet from Swifter and it does not leak. I would definitely bring it back for a new one. Its a great way to do a quick clean up when you need it.
Good luck.

I have one too, no leaking. It works well, no complaints.

I threw my Wet Jet out when my Vet told me that the cleaning solution can cause Liver Problems in cats & dogs

I have a swiffer wet jet that does NOT leak! What a difference. Thanks for the advice everyone, I didn't want to re-buy if it wasn't a good tool, but I think I'm going to like this. It's way better than a mop....

I know this sounds dumb, but I did both of these!
I would press on the trigger when I mopped making puddles.
I forgot to tighten the top to the cleaning fluid bottle.

Pretty sure you'll find this one on snopes as an urban legend.
I love my Wet Jet but don't use the liquid that comes with it...never could remember to buy the refills. I spray Method all-purpose cleaner on the floor and use the wet-jet to mop it up.

What is the Method spary? I may try that... the Wet Jet's cleaner is a bit fragrant for my taste. I had to open the windows to air it out. But it did do a good cleaning job.

Method is just a brand name. I happen to like their all-purpose cleaners. They are fragrant though...I just happen to like the scents they offer. :) I'll bet you could use anything like Lysol, 409...anything that works on countertops.

I had to check that one out and you are correct it is fiction.
