OK for all those who've gotten foodie gifts for the holidays... where to PUT them? I was wondering if we could do another one of these 1 for 1 swaps. Post what you have, maybe what you'd like, see if anyone will trade you.
I'll start! I have a Pampered Chef Mandoline with 4 grater plates, and also CLBB Annuals 2000, 1999, 1998, and 1997.
I'd really like Microplane graters, or any KA mixer attachments, cool cookbooks...
I have [brand new in package] a Kitchen Aid immersion blender and a Hamilton Beach coffee grinder. Not sure yet what I'd be willing to swap them for.....
I'm keeping the Braun immersion blender and the Kitchen Aid coffee grinder I also received.:D

Oh, I would love the Kitchen Aid immersion blender but I'm not sure what I have to swap for....
PM me if you think of anything!!! I have a bunch of cookbooks, a crazy pasta making machine with all kinds of attachments and a crepe maker off the top of my head.

I have Kitchen Aid Standmixer Attachements but I am not giving them away - same with my Microplane Graters :D
I really have to say that I only got great gifts this year and there is nothing I want to get "rid off"

I don't expect to actually GET These items in the swap, but a gal can dream!! :p
Just wanted to clarify I'm not trying to offload gifts I didn't want, just things I've had around a while and not used as much as I thought I would. The cookbook Annuals are duplicates of ones I already have.
I've seen this type of swap on the CLBB before and it looked cool!

I'm 90% sure I want to let my Cuisinart ice cream maker go...for the right swap. :) I'm kinda interested in that pasta gear---what did you mean by "crazy"? Does it work, or is it just too funky to deal with?

I honestly haven't tried it yet but it looks like you put the dough in the machine and the type of fitting for the kind of pasta you want and it spits it out. It looks like fun but DH likes making pasta the old fashioned way.

Is it anything like this one? I was thinking about getting one a couple of years ago.

:) In that case, I'm definitely interested if I have anything you're interested in. I have the ice cream maker and several cookbooks, but not a lot else. Who knows--maybe we can do a round-robin swap. :D

I was actually just thinking last night that I would like an ice cream maker, I would be willing to swap if that works for you!

Yup, the "garage sale swap." :D
OK, I have a lot of cookbooks I've been selling, but up for swapping as well. Here's a few to start:
The Gourmet Cookbook - the big yellow one; new, never used
Craig Claiborne's Favorite - no dustjacket
Donna Hay Christmas - new, 2 copies, hard to find in US
Gardener's Community Cookbook
The Weekend Chef - Barbara Witt
The Junior League at Home
Babalu!
Cookie Dough Delights - new, Camilla Saulsbury
Real Stew
Entertaining - Martha Stewart
As for what I'm looking for ... hmmm. Can always use napkin rings (sets of 8 preferred), tablerunners and some placemats. Also looking for a mini grinder that I can use for spices. Not sure what else, but I'm sure I'll get inspired. ;)

I found I have a duplicate of the CL Complete Cookbook. The first one with the purple background and blueberry crumbcake on the cover.
Would be happy to have it go to a good home in exchange for some other cookbook I don't have yet, maybe an annual?

Hi Sharon,
Would you be interested in CL Annual 2000 or 1997 in exchange for the CL Complete?
Thanks
Christine

I thought I'd bump this up since I think I'd like to get rid of my CL Annuals. I tear some many recipes out of the magazine that I don't need the books too. I've got:
1996
1997
1998
2000
2001
2002
2003
2005
Not sure what I'd be interested in swapping for. Make me an offer. I also like cash. :p
