View Full Version : What would you serve with ravioli?

I am making Giada's Prosciutto Ravioli for dinner tonight and I am having a hard time thinking of a cheep side or something to go with it. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it :)
We are having ravioli for dinner tonight as well :) . I will serve a side of brocoli rabe (rapini), simply blanched, then sauteed with a little olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, and pine nuts.

I think any sort of green vegetable would work. Asparagus would be great (though a bit out of season), and broccoli can be dressed up a TON of different ways!
(Ina Garten's Spinach Gratin is a bit heavy, but I'd recommend that too! Then again, I'd like to eat it with just about any meal :))

How about just an interesting green salad, with several kinds of lettuce? With something as heavy as ravioli can be, I usually just want something light as a side.
