CL Supper Club in Cincinnati?

On the old boards I saw a message posted about starting a supper club in the Cincinnati area. I responded that I was interested, but I didn't ever see any more information about it. I don't get a chance to check the board very often, so I'm wondering if the group ever got started, and if there are still people interested. I definitely would enjoy something like that, so if anyone else is interested, please reply!

What happened to all the people who previously said they were interested in a CL Supper Club in Cincinnati? Since posting this original message, I have had one person e-mail me directly, saying she is VERY interested. The two of us are probably going to try to recruit friends to at least get a supper group going. But we both wanted this to be an opportunity to meet new people, so we're hoping some of the rest of you in Cincinnati will either e-mail or reply to this posting to let us know you're also interested. I'm replying to my own message a second time, just to get it back into the recent postings so maybe someone will see it! We're still looking for people who enjoy making & eating healthy food as well as socializing. If you live in the Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky area and are interested, please reply! We are still working on getting enough interested people. I'm assuming you're the same Mary who e-mailed me, so counting you, we now have three people who are definitely interested and another from Dayton who is considering it. I'm thinking we need a few more people in order to really kick this off, so please reply if anyone else is interested!

Yes, I am the same one who sent the e-mail. I have one friend who is also interested, and possibly 2 more. I'll check with them and find out if they would like to join.

What part of town do you live in?

I live on the west side of town -- in Bridgetown. But I'm willing to drive across town for good food & company! What part of town are you in? I figure if we alternate houses each time, the driving shouldn't be too bad for any of us.

Let me know what you find out from your friends, and I'll keep you posted on any other responses I get.

I live in Wyoming, so I'm not too far from you, and I'm just off I-75, so it's not too bad of a drive from Dayton.

It's looking like we've really got the ball rolling now and maybe have enough people to start up a Cincinnati group! The people we have so far are:

Mary - Wyoming
Christine - Dayton (maybe)
Paula - West Chester (Becky's friend)
Claire - Clifton (Becky's friend)
I think a couple of the others mentioned here also had friends who might be interested.

I was thinking we ought to plan to get together at a restaurant some night to start organizing our group -- deciding how often we'll meet, how we'll decide menus, if significant others are included, etc. Sound good?

Wow! It's great to finally see some activity in Cincinnati. Count me in, although I travel extensively, so I may not be a regular. I live in Cherry Grove, near Anderson (right by the Vineyard Golf Course).
