Supper Club in Bergen County, NJ

Anyone out there interested in a supper club in Northern NJ - Bergen County? There were a couple of people who expressed interest on the old BB. Are you still out there?

My husband and I are retiring from the teaching profession this month and are interested in starting or joining a gourmet club. We live in southern Rockland County, NY. Is this close to where you live?

Hi Carolee. Yes, I am sure that we are close. I am in the northern part of Bergen County. It sounds like you are interested in a couples group. The posters from the old board who were interested were looking for a singles cooking group. Hopefully other people in the area will read our posts and we can see what other people are interested in.

I live in Fort Lee and would be intersted. I've actually done some CL cooking with people from Queens and Brooklyn. Would love to meet and cook with people in my area too.

I'm still interested in a supper club. I replied to the last BB but nothing ever got off the ground. How can we get started here?

Hello everyone!
As you can see there have been 5 replies so far. I think we have enough to start a group! My interest was for a "non-couple" group atmosphere. (I'm just trying to make sure we are all on the same wavelength here).
If we are all in agreement, I think we should get together for a planning meeting. I am in Montvale. Where is everyone else located? Any suggestions on places to meet? (Either post back here or send me an e-mail - I have included it in my profile).

I am very interested in starting a club here in Bergen County. What is the next step?
Should we meet at a coffeehouse, bookstore, Chef Central???
