Thumbs up Heroes - Season Premire Recap 9/26/07

Okay - so who else watched besides the living room full of people at my house last night?????

Was I the only one that caught that Ando bumped into Nathan on his way back to Hiro's father with the newspaper?

And speaking of Nathan - boy has he let himself go but I LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED the way he talked to his mama! He really sees her as she really is now - or at least the way we have perceived her with as little info as we, the viewers have on her. What about the reflection he saw in the mirror in the bar when Claire called him????????????????

So, Hiro's father received his death notice, as did Angela Petrelli - they met on the roof of the Devereux building and Hiro's father starts naming people starting with the 3 that we know are already dead (Devereux, Petrelli Sr., & Linderman) then says, "that leaves 9"-hmmmmmmmm besides himself and Angela Petrelli that leaves 7 more people that were trying to fix the world with powers! I can't WAIT to find out what their powers are/were. And then of course Hiro's father is thrown to his death by someone that simply wasn't there when Ando looked over the side of the building.

I knew that Claire wouldn't be able to NOT jump once everyone left the gym - she's just too full of knowing all she knows and not being able to do anything about it - frustrating I'm sure. But what about this new guy, West I think? He can fly!

It was good to see that Matt, Molly & Mohinder were all okay - Mr. Bennett I feel has gone off the deep end just a bit and Mrs. Bennett, well, bless her heart, she's still just as ditzy as ever. I wonder if they remember anything, Mrs. Bennett and Claire's brother that is.

Of course, they introduced Maya and Alejandro last night - we know what she does but I wonder if he possesses the ability to dampen her power when he is around her. Aren't they twins? I think that is what was alluded to in the online comic introduction of their story but I could be mistaken. She's a basket case.

Hiro of course was Hiro - but he's already changed the future!!!!! I can see where he's going to be for the next few episodes - fixing his mistake.

And then finally, we have poor Peter all caged up and no where to go. This is truly a case of who caged him, how did they cage him, when, where, etc., etc.

Previews looked good so I think we are in for an exciting ride. I hope everyone else got to watch it. If so, share what you thought!

    Loved, loved, loved it!

Loved the shot of Nathan in the mirror....but what happened if anything to his wife and kids?

Claire and the new high school, that's going to be fun esp. with the flying boy!

Pete locked up and his powers, interesting.

And did I not see a preview showing Sylar?

Didn't Angela say something to Nathan while in the apartment about having to snap out of it and that he needed to quit blaming Peter for running Heidi and the kids off? I thought I caught that.

And yes, the previews did show Sylar (bwahahahaha )

Ah, that could be the case! There was a lot packed into the show!

I caught on that "9 more" thing to, and that Hiro's Dad and Mrs. Petrilli specifically mentioned their sons. I wonder if by this season being called Generations, this implies something about that it's parents of all of the folks we may or may not already know.

I liked Nathan's scruffy look, and more caring/casual attitude. Get rid of the beard, but keep that long hair, and dude is hot!

I liked the "Wonder Twins". I'm guessing they'll portray the girl as being someone like Ted, has powers she can't really control that affects other people, and she feels bad that she hurts them. I thought it was interesting that brother seems to be a dampening field for her, or something like that.

I figured it was Sylar in Molly's dream that "I can see you", at least it sounded kinda like him.

Looking forward to seeing how it all plays out,
    Sharon

I certainly don't know, but last night we finally watched it, and I couldn't shake the thought that this guy could be Sylar in disguise. It doesn't explain where he got the ability to fly, but the fact that he was floating outside Claire's room was just creepy.

This season is going to be too fun. It's already going with as many questions as last years!

Nine people to meet/find yet, and find out how they're involved, plus the mystery bad guy who's tormenting Molly. Which, btw, how adorable is Matt playing a Dad to a little girl!
Merry: I don't think he knows about second breakfast, Pip.
Pippin: What about elevenses? Luncheon? Afternoon tea? Dinner? Supper? He knows about them, doesn't he?
