    Picture I took today thread

I am starting a thread for people to submit pictures that they took on the current day. I went out with my camera on a photo outing just a little over an hour ago and took this picture of a lone cypress tree in the middle of the lake at sunset. It's not spectacular picture but it was the last picture that I took. Some days are better than others.

This is the possum that stops by for dinner at the cat food bowl.

I think we also feed a raccoon nightly.

I took these photos from our deck. We often have fog here in the mornings - just patches here and there, settled in little valleys. One thing I can't show in a photo is how it comes rolling off of one of the ridges out front - it literally looks like a river of fog flowing down off the ridge and into the valley.

As you can see, it's going to be beautiful here this weekend. I can't wait to walk Bailey who you can also see in my photos........

    Quotes!

Hi All...am new to this whole site and am loving it. The best thing about this blog is the quotes that all of you have. They are wonderful. The best has to be either the "Superman wears Jack Bauer pajamas" or the Groucho Marx quotes. Also, pictures are great, too!

I took this photograph of lilies growing at the base of a cross a few minutes ago.

You can pretty much guess how the flower got that name.

We have some of those in our yard. I love them. I had not seen them till we moved to Houston. I love bringing ONE into the house in a slender vase.

    Alysha, I love your photos.

    I LOVE ALL THE PHOTOS!

This morning we took the kids to a park by Lake Washington. Hopefully, you can see the Olympic mountains in the distance.

Tonight we headed down to Pike Place Market.

We walked by a restaurant window and they had these sitting out -- we almost went in for dinner.
    Go for it!

I didn't take this today. I'm testing to see if I can post a picture. Thanks for the instructions, Robyn1007! If it works, you'll be seeing a picture of my cat Tiger:

You missed the http:// and it looks like you right clicked on the thumbnail instead of the large picture.

    You're my surrogate picture poster

I thought the large box was checked off, but who knows. Ok, I'm gonna try again.

No, don't just check the box, open it up so it's full size. Then right click.
