How about a more peaceful bird. I took this pic (Great Blue Heron) along the Halifax River (intercoastal waterway) in Daytona Beach, Florida.

I was wondering how many people tripped over that dock in the dark. There were two boats moored at the end.

Thanks. I haven't done many contests. I really can't remember how I did this. I just remember my camera getting wet and how cold I was when taking the picture.

Here is a picture I took a couple of weeks ago at a farmers market. The flowers were for sale and placed in a five gallon plastic paint bucket.

Canon PowerShot SX20IS and a Nikon CoolPix Point and Shoot.

I also have the camera in my Android phone and in certain conditions, it takes a pretty good picture and has some fun photo editing options.

Thanks! I have a Nikon D40x and a Nikon D7000. I process my images in Photoshop, NX2, and Lightroom, and often use all of them to edit one image.

Here's one that I took last week. Alleys and dumpsters often make good pics.

Thunderstorms were rolling in yesterday, but I got these two shots before it started raining.

I'm intrigued by this tree. I don't know what it is, but the flowers are very unusual.

Anyone know what it is?

They have made some changes.

What I do is go to "photo-all sizes". Choose the size you want and then right click on your photo. Click "view image info" and copy the code for you .jpg.

Then you can just page the code here from the picture link on the toolbar.
