    Question Roaster oven Prime Rib

Has anyone ever made Prime rib in a roaster oven? How long did you cook it for? My Father has this brilliant idea to fix a New Years Eve dinner for a group of their friends. The problem is he doesn't cook and I am having my own New Years Eve party at my house - 2 1/2 hours away. I need something simple to tell him, he will have some help but he often is pretty helpless when it comes to cooking. Thanks for your help.

I haven't done a prime rib, but I've done turkeys and hams. It's really the same as roasting it in the oven. It might take a little less time to cook since it's a smaller space, but you might check the roaster web sites or google it.
