Pound Cake: KAF Vanilla vs. BC Lemon

I am making a pound cake (with berry topping) for Easter dessert and am trying to decide between these two. I have made the BC lemon pound cake before but don't really remember it, so I thought I would try again to see why it didn't register with me (was it me or the pound cake). However in my searching, I stumbled on the vanilla pound cake in KAF. I love vanilla and now am contemplating making this instead. Any opinions? Thank you in advance!

I love vanilla too. This is my new favorite pound cake, I've made several. I've used all vanilla or part almond and part vanilla. I know you didn't ask for another recipe , but this is really good. This is a big cake that keeps well.

Million-Dollar Pound Cake from Taste of Home

    2 cups butter, softened
    3 cups sugar
    6 eggs
    4 cups all-purpose flour
    3/4 cup milk
    1 teaspoon almond extract
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter until fluffy. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour, just until blended. Stir in extracts. Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-in. tube pan.

Bake at 325° for about 1 hour and 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely. Yield: 16 servings.

Dorie Greenspan also has a pound cake in "Baking From My Home to Yours." I made the lemon version last night, and actually prefer the BC version, which is amazing. I vote for Ina!

No, but another vote for BC Lemon Pound Cake. I've made it several times and it's very, very good! Berries on top improve on the perfect...
