Cooking Light April 2008
This was very good. I didn't have chunky applesauce so peeled and chopped 1 granny smith apple, cooked down and added to regular applesauce. I'm not sure what quick-cooking oats are, my box says old fashioned and cook in 5 minutes, which seems quick to me I just used them and let them soak a lot longer. All this in an effort to avoid driving to the store. We ate just plain and I would definitely make again. Very moist. Here is the link:

This was the first recipe that caught my eye on April's issue. thanks for reminding me actually, as I have had it marked to try since I got the magazine... guess I will be making it this week now!
One of our supper club members brought this last week to supper club. We really liked it. The spices really tasted great. It is so moist, and the texture was almost like an apple-y bread pudding.
