Have you ever taken a trip for singles...

Last year I took a fabulous vacation by myself to a spa and it was wonderful! This year I'd like to do something with others, and am curious about taking a trip geared for singles. The problem is, there are numerous travel companies and services out there for this kind of trip and I don't know where to start.

Has anyone ever taken a trip like this before, or maybe knows of a reputable travel agency that offers vacations like this? Any advice for going about making this happen?

By singles, what do you mean?

There are trips geared to solo travelers but they are divided by demographics to some extent. There are also trips that are geared to single women specifically.

Most of the guided tours attract solo travelers because it is easy to make friends along the way even if some people are coupled. Often they will pair you up with another person to avoid the singles supplement. The days are over when these kinds of tours were solely for people who wanted to see Europe in 7 days. My friend (male) did a guided tour through Vietnam and Laos last year.

Other good bets are tours involving some kind of activity. When I rode, I did a riding vacation by myself through Equitour.
Some days I pray for Silence, Some days I pray for Soul,
Some days I just pray to the God of Sex and Drums and Rock 'N' Roll.

Thanks...by singles I meant solo travelers and/or unmarried. I've seen some women-only trips, but thought would be fun to do a co-ed trip. My stumbling block is finding a reputable company to give me some options. A "singles-only cruise" is not really my speed...but I'd love to spend a week at a cooking school with a group, or ski, bike, hike, etc. with a group. Sometimes it's hard being part of trips with lots of families or couples, or always going somewhere by yourself. My friends don't have as much flexibility as I do, and I like meeting new people.

Please keep the ideas coming! TIA!
