computer help?

I accidently shut off my computer today and after I turned it back on
the home page color was changed from maroon to purple. Needless to
say I don't like it. Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

If you have Windows have you tried "appearances" in the control panel?

There's a change colors options there.

I found appearances but only basic colors are there:gray, white,yellow,green,
and blue. So I can't figure how to make maroon!

Where you found the basic colors, there is a button called "more" or "advanced" or something like that. Click on that and it should open the color wheel so you can select any color you like.

It's windows 2000. And there's a box rather than a color wheel;
it just has basic gray, green, blue, and white.
