Was she previously the CL food stylist/photographer?

Flipping thru the sunday paper, there was a piece on hair coloring ( or not) in one of the magazines ( Spry) & I thought I recognized the name. Becky Luigart-Stayner? Wasn't she one of the food photographers for CL not too long ago? Didn't CL run a feature article focused on the food stylists they were using at the time? I tried looking in an old issue but couldn't find her name anywhere.

I no more than read your post when I went looking for a scalloped potato recipe and came across this which Becky photographed. It looks divine and just might make it on the Thanksgiving menu.

I went to work for Cooking Light Magazine, where I was on staff for 9 years.

Cooking Light had wonderful photography. The food looked great, the people looked comfortable and the table settings were to die for. It is a shame they decided to look well, conventional.

Emphasis on had. Ah, the good old days when most of us liked the magazine. I am still not sure why they messed with a good thing. It seems like we share the thought that we liked a more unconventional Cooking Light magazine.

I only save the last 2 years of CL, now I wish I'd saved more. But who would have guessed they'd screw up something that worked well. the photograpy was always a high point, dishes looked so good they made you want to make them, now it's ordinary.

Anyway, for those of you who didn't see the article, she's let her hair go silver gray and it looks fabulous. I have no idea why I recognized her name but I keep thinking CL did a special article about the photographers/stylists a couple years ago because before that I hadn't paid attention.
