    Once in a Blue Moon...

    Tomorrow, New Year's Eve, night there will be a blue moon. That means it's the second full moon in one month. And falling on New Year's Eve, a rarity.

    Very cool! Hope that doesn't mean more accidents, etc. You know that a full moon really does bring out the crazies!

    I agree - I'm somewhat apprehensive that I work both New Year's Eve and Day this year. At least I don't work psych or ER .....

    You sure did. They mentioned this on NPR this morning and said a blue moon on NYE comes every 19 years. And then informed listeners "The last one was in 1990 and the next one will be in 2028." Uh, yea I suppose so.

    Very exciting- but then my immediate next thought was well, what should I cook to celebrate??? DH wanted Moon Pies...

    Perfect! I was thinking along the lines of something so special that I only have it rarely- really good champers but your idea is too perfect and well, more affordable too!
