I was planning on serving baked salmon (marinated) for Passover tonight. But now I am wondering how to best keep the salmon warm while we have the seder. If I keep in the warming tray, will it just dry out?
Do you have a chafing dish--it produces a wet heat as opposed to the dry heat of an oven. Here's a link to a page I found when googling 'keeping salmon warm for a party.' Good luck!
if it's covered swith foil and the warming tray is truly keeping it just warm, it shouldn't dry out.
Thanks for the ideas. Don't have time to get a chafing dish, but that's a great link.
I think I will try the warming drawer with foil. Decided to make a different recipe--one with some veggies and more liquid. Hope that will keep it from drying out.
