I am making CL 3 cheese macaroni and cheese and forgot to measure beforehand. It calls for 2 cups uncooked macaroni or 8 oz. How much is this cooked?
Thanks
Laurie

What kind of pasta are you using? Elbow mac, rotini, etc?
Also, what is the pasta package size you used? ie: How many ounces?
I'm assuming you cooked the entire box, or bag, of pasta.
I would guess about 4 cups.

16 ounces of elbow macaroni is 4 cups uncooked, as far as cooked I can't remember. I used to have it written down somewhere but don't know what I did with it.

I had to go search for this because I couldn't remember:
3 cups uncooked egg noodles
3 1/2 cups cooked noodles
1 cup uncooked
2 cups cooked macaroni
4 oz. dry spaghetti
2 1/2 cups cooked spaghetti
8 oz. uncooked spaghetti
4 cups cooked spaghetti
I know that with a lot of small shaped pastas that 16 ounces = 4 cups uncooked.

Here is something that should be really helpful for you.
