Godiva pudding cups ***drool***

So, just in case anyone is having an adult party this holiday season, here's a suggestion for a bite size dessert.

Take a package of instant chocolate pudding.

Replace the 2 cups of milk with 2 cups of Godiva.

Put into shot glasses (about 1 oz per serving) and let chill.

Top with a dolop of the new alcoholic chocolate whipped cream. Or, regular whipped cream if you prefer. Serve with tiny spoons.

A slightly cheaper option is to use chocolate vodka but I'm not sure it would have the same depth of flavor.

ETA: 1 package makes about 20 one-ounce servings.

They are really that good. Definitely make them!

I used disposable shot glasses and disposable plastic cocktail spoons.

We just ordered a ton online somewhere but we had to buy a couple hundred. DH ordered those and if you are interested I can find out where.

I have that on hand - how do you think it would work if I subbed 1 cup of milk (not low fat) plus 1 cup Kahlua, instead of the Godiva?

I love the idea of the pudding in shot glasses (plastic?). Last year during the holidays, someone brought white chocolate mousse pudding with peppermint schnapps in it. They used those little souffle cups, and I kept thinking "nacho cheese" even though the dessert was white!

I hate to sound like an idiot, but do you mean the liquid Godiva bottle that someone gave us as a gift OR do you mean melted chocolate? I mean, the alcohol is no help bc that could mean the new whipped topping that would make it "adult" also!

Tasty liquid, but liquid. I think I now have pudding shots instead of pudding cups.

The pudding idea sounds really yummy though. And I have the same questions, when you say "godiva", is it liqueur then? Not melted chocolate, right?

I found a recipe for this, though the milk is not completely replaced. Perhaps there was an error somewhere?

1 (113 g) package instant chocolate pudding mix or 1 (113 g) package vanilla instant pudding mix
4 -8 ounces godiva white chocolate liqueur
up to 2 cups milk

Pour liquor into a large measuring cup.
Add in milk to equal 2 cups.
Add in pudding mix.
Whisk by hand, or beat at low speed for two minutes.
Pour into shooter cups & chill.
