    Help with Spam on Facebook

    I keep receiving emails that says:

    ''Name of one of my friend'' updated her status: (it's my status that shows here)

    It's like saying that my friends are updating their status with my status.

    That is weird. I looked online and could not find any solutions.

    I don't think there is anything you can do but notify your friend as her mail probably got hacked or her FB contacts.

    I periodically get strange FB (and other) Spam from people who I assume have my in their address book.

    Anytime something strange happens to me on FB, I change my password. I have no idea if it is necessary, but it sure doesn't hurt anything either.
