1 pound mushrooms
3 tablespoons capers
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/4 cup dry white wine - optional
1/2 cup Italian parsley, chopped
Ciabatta bread, for dipping
1. Mix mushrooms, capers, garlic, oil, wine, salt and freshky ground pepper in a shallow baking dish.
2. Dot with butter and bake 450 degrees, 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are tender, golden and bubbling. Stir in lemon juice and parsley. Serve with Ciabatta bread, for dipping.
**The wine is not necessary, but it does add an additional dimension to the dish. Use it, if you have it and want to, then decide.
