    Cherry tomato, cucumber, peanut...Thai salad??

    About ten years ago - maybe longer - my SIL got me hooked on a summer salad that I believe had cherry tomato, cucumber, peanuts and I think...a Thai red sauce of some type. It was a cold salad - with a little heat and a little sweet...ANYBODY THAT CAN HELP??? Thanks!!

    I posted this recipe years ago and it's a summer favorite. I never thought of adding cherry tomatoes, though.

    Are you sure it wasn't a "green papaya salad"?
    It might look like cucumber strips, but it is actually green papaya.
    I love thai green papaya salad, and it sounds exactly like you described... google it and take a look at images to see if they are the same you are looking for!
