    Country-style dijon???

Is this just dijon with seeds, or is there more to it?

I've always believed it to be mustard with seeds.

Yeah so did I. I never found the taste to be that much different though.

It's a cross between regular Dijon and whole grain mustard; creamier than whole grain, corser than regular Dijon.

Thanks. I saw it as an ingredient in a marinade and I didn't think it was too important to go run out and buy some, but was just curious anyway.

I think it's wonderful on a rustic style sandwich-- you know, crusty bread, roasted peppers, tart cheese, maybe mushrooms. I buy it for that sometimes.

We mix it with EVOO and toss with cubed rustic bread to make croutons-a little extra zip for a salad.
