Thumbs down Gordon Ramsey and Walmart

Not to start a debate about Walmart or anything, but...

I'm am SO disappointed in Ramsey!!! I realize his American shows are hype and BS, but they can be entertaining. I did always really like his shows I could catch on the BBC though, especially the ones where ***he raised his own animals, took care of them, involved his family in the process, and dispatched of them humanely.*** Like some sort of responsibility was taken?

Watching MasterChef tonight (yea not the greatest but I'm TV-tight these days, switched to basic cable). These recent Walmart steak commercials regular broadcasting have been driving me nuts, as I just dont like the cooperation, at all. Then to see Gordon Ramsey hawking Walmart steaks on a so called "master chef" show???

    Ugh!!!

I'm amazed at the ads on the food networks. The ones where you open a bag and nuke then serve. Really? I'm watching a show, for the most part, about cooking. Not opening a bag and dumping it on a plate. Makes you wonder if the revenue is working out for them.

I started watching Masterchef Australia online. I am blown away at how different the shows are. The premise is the same but they do an individual challenge, a team challenge, and a masterclass cooking class with the chefs and the recipes for this are available online. The contestants seem quite supportive of one another, and although there is always one in the group who likes to do a little sabotaging, altogether it is an entirely different experience - and there is little swearing . The also get to go up against a chef from a restaurant to try and win an immunity pin that can be used later on to save themselves.

We watch Hell's Kitchen. We have the new system with the joey and the hopper. We don't even watch commercials most of the time.....interesting. the almighty dollar always wins
